The desert at your own speed.
An hour behind the wheel of an open desert buggy, out across the red sand and between the sandstone blocks that give Wadi Rum its name. It is the most hands-on way to see the desert — you set the pace, with a guide leading the route.
Run by a licensed local partner who collects you from the camp and brings you back. Best in the cooler hours of the morning or late afternoon, when the light is low and the sand has gone red.
